Student Email Down

Student Email has been down since around 9 am this morning - currently only webmail and POP service has been affected, IMAP should still work. Full time staff has been notified and they are currently working on a solution.
[UPDATE 1730]: At this point services have been restored. A machine had crashed and was rebooted.

Network Outages

The server quicksand which hosts tempdisk is temporarily down. Full time staff are aware of the problem and working to fix it.
Also, the recent rainfall has flooded the network closet that serves Norton-Clark III and damaged the networking equipment inside. Network Services staff says that this outage will last until at least Monday […]
