All Services Back Online

All services including: email, network access, the portal, POP and IMAP and the Jenzbar CX system should now be back on line.
If you are having problems getting to these services, please call the ITS Help Desk at 18061/18062.

Servers back up after power loss

Power has been restored to North Campus after a temporary outage running from ~8:00 PM to 11:45 PM. Pretty much everything is back to normal except for the mail server, which is still unresponsive.

Mail servers down

All non-Outlook e-mail programs are not functioning at the moment because IMAP, POP3, IMAPS, and POP3S are down at mail.pomona.edu. Webmail is still functional.

Campus Portal Down

Due to the power interruption we have been informed by AISO (the CUC department maintaining the primary server for the Jenzabar system) that they expect the main server to be down for about 8 hours. Internet working again

The internet connectivity issues appear to have been (magically) resolved.

Sketchy internet connectivity

The 5Cs have been experiencing internet connectivity issues since about 3:00PM today. It appears to be an issue with the Claremont Colleges’ ISP. Connectivity between computers within the network has been unaffected.
Those responsible are aware of the issue and are looking into it, although connectivity seems to have returned…for now.
