The network problem that was impacting a small portion of Mudd Blaisdell has been resolved. A component failed and has been replaced. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The network problem that was impacting a small portion of Mudd Blaisdell has been resolved. A component failed and has been replaced. Sorry for the inconvenience.
There is one particular closet of network equipment that is experiencing problems, which is affecting about 24 residents. We are working to resolve this problem right now.
Service was restored shortly after the network was experiencing problems.
This evening (starting around 8:05) we appear to have started having internet connections problems. The internal network appears to be functioning properly. We are working to determine the cause of the problem and fix it. We will publish more information as available.
The servers supporting the email system, network file storage space as well as web services have been successfully relocated to the new IT facility and all those services are notw back online.

The campus network is back up. The fiber back bone as well as the core switches have been successfully moved to the new IT building. All services should now be available. If you are having problems please contact the ITS Help Desk at ext. 18061.
