Quicksand Server Restored

The problems with the quicksand server have been resolved. At this point you should be able to access the tempdisk share, along with the other shares on quicksand, without problem. If you are still having problems, please contact the ITS Helpdesk at x18061 or x18062.

Resnet Networking Problems Resolved

The network problems keeping computers from connecting to the network have been resolved.
If you have any further questions or are still experiencing connectivity problems, please contact the ITS Helpdesk at x18062.

Resnet Networking Problems

There appear to be intermittent issues with DHCP on the residential networks. As a result, some computers may not be able to obtain IP addresses and thus will not be able to access the network. Full-time staff has been notified and are working to resolve the issue.

E-Mail Delivery Problems Resolved

The email delivery problems that started last night are now resolved. Incoming email should be appearing in your inbox now.

E-mail Delivery

E-mail delivery appears to be broken for student accounts (and possibly faculty accounts). This means that you won’t receive any new e-mail, but all of your older e-mail should still be accessible.
Full-time staff has been notified of the issue.
