Student Email Service Restored

ITS just received a message from Microsoft about a service disruption that they are investigating. We are currently working to confirm that this disruption may be leading to the email bounce messages some of you have been receiving this afternoon when sending to students.
We appreciate your patience while we work to resolve this.
In addition to the scanning that is already taking place on Postini, we have licensed Virus and Spam Scanning on the Ironport server, which serves as a gateway between Postini and Exchange.
