Email Quotas
With MyMail students have 5 gigabytes of storage available to them online. As you approach the limit, a series of annoying daily warnings will start appearing in your mailbox. If you go over the limit you won’t be able to send, and, eventually recieve messages until you reduce the number of messages being stored.
Faculty/Staff: 250 MB; Warning message will be sent at 200 MB with the inability to send messages commencing at the 250 MB limit; client will continue to be able to receive messages.
Faculty and Staff are also set up so that their email is archived on a regular basis. This process copies your email to an archived email server and leaves only a header or bookmark in your email box that you can click on to retrieve your archived messages. Because of this, normally you will not receive a warning that you are approaching an upward limit. If you do, simply email helpdesk@pomona.edu so that we can work with you on this.
