Some Internet Access Issues

There appears to be an internet issue that is outside of Pomona College control at this point. According to CINE, Los Nettos has been having routing issues since morning that apparently have gotten worse.

All services restored

The portal is now available.

Portal Not Operational

There was a major power event during the evening of Jan 31. ITS has been working through the night to bring services back on line but at this point various parts of CX (the portal) are not operational. ITS is addressing the situation.

Network Slowness Resolved

We have been able to identify and resolve the problem that was causing the slowdown of traffic on the campus network. The network switch in Thatcher was flooding the campus network with packets. The switch was rebooted and the problem went away. ITS will continue to monitor this switch to make sure […]
